So while we were eating, TGIF was playing a Jose Mari Chan CD on the background and she kept on commenting (on every single song) that ‘twas the same CD which her mother used to play in their house during Christmas. Then suddenly, a ‘Happy Birthday’ Song (not the usual HBD tune) was played and she was surprised. She was like “Yay! It’s for me! ^___^” but I popped out her bubble of excitement by saying “It’s not for you, It’s for Jesus! It said ‘Happy Birthday Jesus’!” and she kinda believed in me. ( I wonder why she didn’t notice that there is no such song in her mother’s JMC CD. Haha!).
Then as the song ended, a shout from afar was heard:
‘HEY GUYS! GUESS WHAT?! IT’S YVETTE’S BIRTHDAAAAYYY!”
Then the staffs of TGIF went to our table with the purple-star-themed cake while singing a very lively and rock-y Happy Birthday Song; and she was blushing and smiling and laughing all at the same time. Haha!
